Abdullah Elleissy
Deputy Principal
Born in Australia, Abdullah Elleissy commenced his teaching career in 2001. After completing his schooling locally, he pursued a double degree in Islamic Theology and Arabic Language.
Upon graduating with his Islamic Studies degree, Abdullah went on to complete a Diploma in Secondary Education, followed by a Master of Education in 2008. His postgraduate studies further deepened his understanding of effective teaching practices and educational frameworks.
Since joining Darul Ulum College, Abdullah has held a range of leadership positions, from Department Coordinator to Head of School. Alongside his educational leadership, he has actively contributed to various seminars, conferences, and professional development initiatives within the broader educational community.
Guided by a deep commitment to his own personal growth and to the holistic development and wellbeing of students, Abdullah is passionate about cultivating a culture of continuous professional learning among teachers through the application of educational frameworks and values. His philosophy underscores the interconnection between intellect, spirituality, and pedagogy, striving to be part of a school environment grounded in intellectual curiosity, moral integrity, and positive citizenship.
