Completion of New Construction Projects

The College is pleased to announce that the construction of a 400m2 kids’ playground within the female campus is now complete. The playground contains a variety of equipment carefully chosen to cater for all primary students. A 50-60mm tick soft-fall rubber has been incorporated to the design and to be installed in conjunction with Australian Standard AS4685.1:2014 and AS 4422 – 1996.

Likewise, it is with great delight that the College’s administration would like to announce that it has successfully completed the construction of a new building on the female section of the College. An opening ceremony was held on Monday, 15 October and was attended by the Moreland Mayor along with other special guests. The new building offers a wide range of modern facilities to our primary school students and staff. It is an extension and alteration to the existing two storey building (Building C) whereby it provides the following amenities:

  • State of the art female reception / office
  • 10 additional classrooms
  • 4 specialised work offices for the leadership team
  • A staff recreational lounge
  • A conference room
  • Tutorial room
  • Fully equipped clinic / sick bay
  • A dedicated photocopy room
  • Separate toilet and wudhu facilities for boys and girls

The project had undergone a vigorous process of review, consultation, change management and one main key feature of this new addition is based on transparency whereby most parts of internal corridor adjacent walls are glass. The classrooms were furnished by new furniture which were selected based on the different type colour scheme selected for each class.

Also, to be noted is that no incidents were reported during the actual course of construction which took place over a 9-month period.

On behalf of the College’s Management, we thank you for your cooperation and collaboration shown during the course of construction and to complete the project successfully.
