Counselling

Darul Ulum College of Victoria’s Counseling service aims to provide counseling support to students challenged by personal, social, emotional and behavioural issues which impacts their learning process.

Counselling Support

It provides opportunities for students to develop general life skills through psycho-social support and resources that enhance their general learning experience through support and guidance regarding ethos, values, relationships and spiritual issues, the provision of student welfare, and enhancing engagement with the broader community. The Chaplain/Counsellor upholds the Values for Australian schooling along with guidance from the Islamic faith. Chaplain/Counsellor also assists the College in managing students at risk by providing preventative and consultative services. In cases where students are deemed to benefit from further support, a referral to external health service providers are initiated. Parental consent and engagement is always sought in such circumstances.
