Assalaamu Aalaikum,
We thank Allah (SWT) for giving members of the Student Representative Council (SRC) the opportunity to visit some of our elders residing in the Ottoman Village Aged Care in Broadmeadows.
This visit gave students the opportunity to pay respects to the senior members of the community as well as to ponder and reflect upon the blessings of good health.
Students introduced the College, handed out gifts and read some Qur’an. The aged care residents reacted emotionally, expressed their appreciation for the visit and requested prayers (duas).
Overall, it was a very insightful experience.
